Mr. Lishengsa Yue’s research interests include safety performance evaluation, connected vehicle technology and machine learning. Mr. Yue has served as the major participant in traffic safety project of the department of transportation of Florida (FDOT) and has experience with using the advanced statistical models as well as machine learning methodologies to analyze the safety effect of different traffic treatments at roadway facilities. Mr. Yue also leads several research efforts related to the connected vehicle technology. His work uses driving simulator, computation, simulation and field operation testing to design high safety-efficient CAV technology. Mr. Yue has given multiple presentations introducing his research at Transportation Research Boarding Annual Meeting (TRB) for many times, and he is now the reviewer of the journal of Accident Prevention and Analysis and the journal of traffic injury prevention.
